As elected representatives of the NJ Democratic Party, we take responsibility for educating our community about their rights and responsibilities as citizens, and for supporting people that feel concern about the current immigration crackdown and the growing presence of federal agents in our towns and communities. 

 

We need to do our part to connect residents to resources and credible organizations. We will also:  

 

• Provide factual information on individual rights

• Provide advice about safe and responsible behavior 

• Educate people about federal and state laws 

• Keep people up to date on state policies and initiatives

 

We know that the images that we are seeing in NJ and throughout the country, especially in Minnesota,  are disturbing to many of us and we want people to know we are here to help.
